MICHELLE BURGOS
Office Manager
Michelle, originally from Puerto Rico, started her career in dentistry in 1995. She has been with Purple Plum Dentistry for almost a decade. Over the years, she has accumulated vast experience in assisting, consulting, and organizational roles. Possessing an in-depth knowledge of dentistry, insurance processes, and treatment planning techniques, Michelle is well-suited for her current role. Her dedication to professional growth is evident through her proactive approach to continuing education in the dental field, ensuring she remains updated on technological advancements for the benefit of her patients. Michelle's genuine passion for dentistry shines through her devoted efforts to provide exceptional care to all of her guests.
Michelle indulges in various activities during her free time, including hiking, dancing, biking, cooking, drawing, engaging in water sports, and singing. Furthermore, she dedicates her time to humanitarian efforts by participating in dental missions for underprivileged regions around the globe.
MARIELA ALVALLERO
lead Dental Assistant
Mariela has been an integral part of the Purple Plum team since its establishment in 2013, bringing over two decades of experience in the dental field with her. Originally from El Salvadore, she takes great joy in connecting with a diverse range of patients and building meaningful relationships with each individual. Mariela is certified in CPR and radiography, and her caring and gentle nature is well-recognized by those she cares for.
During her free time, she enjoys activities like exercising, cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her family. An avid dog enthusiast, Mariela and her son Lucas are excited about creating memories with "Lego," their beloved beagle. Being fluent in both Spanish and English, Mariela's bilingual skills add value to her professional interactions.
REINA BROGDON, RDH
Registered dental Hygenist
Reina embarked on her professional journey with a dream of pursuing a career as a dental hygienist during her formative years in Idaho, renowned for its agricultural prominence. Since completing her dental hygiene education in 1999, she has predominantly practiced in the charming surroundings of Salt Lake City. Upon relocating to Virginia, Reina embraced the values of empathy and top-tier patient care at Purple Plum, leading her to become an integral part of our team.
Known for her infectious laughter and exceptional ability to soothe even the most anxious patients, Reina excels in fostering a relaxed atmosphere. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, singing, crocheting, hiking, and exploring new destinations with her husband and two grown children.
