To commence your journey with us, we kindly recommend scheduling your initial appointment to allow us to personally acquaint ourselves with you.
For your convenience, we recommend arriving early to complete the new patient forms. Alternatively, these registration documents can be accessed for download on our website. Your first visit will involve a thorough interview, reflecting our dedication to ensuring a positive experience for all new patients. This conversation will delve into your medical and dental history, addressing specific interests such as cosmetic procedures, cavity treatments, or Invisalign aligners. Your input is highly valued.
Following this, new patient photos will be taken to aid off-site dental assessments, serving as invaluable tools for diagnostic and preventive care. Should you wish, you are welcome to request copies of these images. Subsequently, our team will proceed with digital dental radiographs, offering reduced radiation exposure compared to common daily activities like outdoor exposure or eating a banana. You retain the right to request these radiographs at any point. A 3D scan of your teeth will then be conducted to enhance our understanding of your dental health and bite alignment.
Dr. Kiani, will greet you and proceed with a comprehensive examination. Dr. Kiani will inquire about any specific concerns or questions you may have. Dr. Kiani will have thoroughly reviewed your medical and dental history, as well as examined images, scans, and x-rays.
Throughout the examination, Dr. Kiani will meticulously examine each tooth using an intraoral camera to provide detailed visual assessments of your dental condition.
For regular dental cleanings, our hygienist will perform the cleaning procedure while Dr. Kiani oversees the diagnostic process. This cleaning typically includes scaling, polishing, and flossing. We recommend a fluoride treatment at least once a year to help prevent cavities. If you wish to receive this treatment, please inform our staff.
Patients requiring periodontal care may need to schedule a follow-up appointment for specialized cleanings tailored to their individual needs.
Upon gathering all essential information, a comprehensive consultation with Dr. Kiani will be arranged. This session will involve a detailed review of findings and address any queries you may have. Upholding transparency in our procedures, we will provide you with a USB drive containing all relevant data and recommended reading materials pertaining to your case. Encouraging patients to advocate for their own well-being is a core principle of our practice.
